Hacı Bayram Mosque

Hacı Bayram-ı Veli is one of the most famous people in Islam world. He was born in Ankara. In that time, Ankara was a little town. This mosque was built in the name of him in the time of Selçuk State (Seljuq Dynasty). This mosque is next to the Augustus temple.

This mosque is very crowded in morning prayers, especially in Fridays as Friday is the holy day of Islam. 

In the last few years, security precautions was increased by municipality because of security reasons of this region, which is called "Old Ankara".
